Normal[edit | edit source]

You receive 3 free revive tokens. Enemies deal reduced damage, normal weapons work well.

Advanced[edit | edit source]

Unlocked by completing Normal or buying a difficulty unlock ticket in the EMP store. You receive 3 free revive tokens. Enemies deal default damage.

Expert[edit | edit source]

Unlocked by completing Advanced or buying a difficulty unlock ticket in the EMP store. You receive no free revive tokens. Enemies deal extra damage, normal weapons can still be used, though Assault and ZK weapons are favored.

Nightmare[edit | edit source]

Unlocked by completing Expert or buying a difficulty unlock ticket in the EMP store. Requires a Nightmare Ticket. Each time you start a map in nightmare difficulty, you need a new nightmare ticket—even if you've unlocked it before. Nightmare tickets are obtainable in the Shooting Gallery or bought in the EMP shop. Disconnects for any reason during a match will require you to use a second Nightmare ticket to re-enter. You receive no free revive tokens. In Assault Ops, nightmare difficulty gives your team a total of 25 revives—not per player, but for the whole team. In Paranormal Ops, the limit for revives is 30. Once your team has used all of their allotted 25 or 30 revive tokens—no matter who used them—no one else can revive, and it’s game over, man. You can still be kicked for "AFK" after dying, though the timer reduces to 20 seconds should the entire team perish. Enemies deal greatly increased damage. New enemies may also appear. Assault or ZK weapons are preferred as well as epic weapons.
